Of the

Special General Membership Meeting

September 5, 2007

Holiday Inn, New Iberia

 

Sixteen (16) members attended the meeting; for a list of names see the sign-in roster (on file in Union office). President Ken Bruner called the meeting to order at 7:10pm.

Ken began by making an announcement, for the record, that this was a “Special Meeting” for the purpose of completing Executive Board nominations only.

Pete read from the minutes of the last GM Meeting, August 8, 2007.  The following nominations were made during that meeting:

 

TRUSTEE: Erica Green   /   Jim Deaton   /   Kris Stroop

 

RECORDING SECRETARY: Ryan Baker

 

SECRETARY-TREASURER: Pete Catalano

 

VICE PRESIDENT: Chris Bingham

 

PRESIDENT: Ken Bruner   /   Bill Sykes

 

All of the above have accepted their nominations.

  1. Ken opened the meeting for any further nominations for the next Executive Board.  In addition to the above, the following nominations were made:

 

TRUSTEE: John Doty

 

RECORDING SECRETARY: (none)

 

SECRETARY-TREASURER: Tim Knight

 

VICE PRESIDENT: (none)

 

PRESIDENT: (none)

 

 

  1. Ken named the Election Committee, which will be responsible for conducting the election, counting ballots, and announcing the results.  Ballots will be mailed to each member’s home of record in early October; the election will take place in November. 

 

  1. The three-member Election Committee consist of:   

 

Don Holland   /   Aaron Senne   /   Larry Skinner

 

  1. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR MAILING ADDRESS WITH THE LOCAL.

 

 

With no further business to be conducted, the special meeting was adjourned at 7:38 pm.
