GENERAL MEMBERSHIPNOTAM # 20 - 2007December 13, 2007 If you read the last Notam, you noticed the statement: “Although it’s not the official method of communication . . . “ So, what exactly is the official method of communications by our Local? Answering that question is the purpose of this NOTAM. The Executive Board has established a “secure” method of two-way communication between the E-Board and the General Membership. The objectives of this new system are: Ø Reduce the volume of traffic on Commocheck. Ø Direct questions to the Executive Board member who can best provide the answer. Ø A personal reply will be sent to and seen only by the person who asked the question. When you see any message from the following sender: it was sent by the Local 107 Executive Board - the official voice of your Union. The purpose of this new communication system is not to do away with 107 Commocheck. Commocheck will remain as it is today. This NOTAM was sent from Commocheck, it is the last time NOTAMS will be sent in this manner. From this day forward, if you wish to receive the NOTAMS or any other official information from the Executive Board, please send your Name and E-mail address to: STRENGTH THROUGH SOLIDARITY nEXT G.M.
