Pete joined Bristow, for the first time, in April 1974 flying in Trinidad, WI. Left for 2 years to work in Dubai, UAE, then hired on with Bristow (Air Logistics) in August 1977. 

Pete was involved with the initial OPEIU organizing campaign and has been a member of the Executive Board since. Upon certification of the Local, Pete began serving the Union as a member of the 1st Contract Negotiating Team, Chairman of the 2nd Contract Negotiating Team, editor of the Local's first newsletter,The Flightline, and as Local107's first Secretary-Treasurer. Subsequently he has held the office of Trustee, Recording Secretary, and finally, and for the past two years, Secretary-Treasurer.

Pete's primary goals for this term of office: 
(1) To leave the office of Secretary-Treasurer as well as the Executive Board with well established operating procedures and templates in order to promote professionalism and provide continuity going forward. 
(2) To continue the excellent Union/Management relationship which has developed over the past few years and 
(3) To educate new members on the significance of our Union in their personal and professional lives and thus the need to embrace the concept of Solidarity.
